The Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa is a full-service hotel situated between Moorea's historic Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. This property offers a pristine white sand beach, crystal blue lagoon and lush tropical gardens. Upon leaving the airport or the harbor, navigate along the scenic coast towards Papetoai. The property is located on the lagoon side of the road, just before entering Opunohu Bay. The land and overwater bungalows are spacious, luxurious and situated to afford maximum privacy. Double connecting bungalows are also available for larger parties traveling together or for families. Of the 106 bungalows at the resort, 57 are overwater bungalows offering a view of sea life through a small glass floor panel, as well as a private deck and a swimming platform into the lagoon.

In addition to the over-water bungalows, there are beach bungalows, garden bungalows and family units (adjoining bungalows) located in the garden area behind the beach.

The Sheraton Moorea offers a variety of facilities and activities including an outdoor infinity pool, a fitness club, tennis, fishing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, scuba diving and yachting. Snorkeling equipment is included in all the rooms.
Resort services include a business center, gift boutique, currency exchange, laundry and same-day dry cleaning, as well as babysitting services and facilities for the disabled. Rental cars are available from the front desk.

Sheraton Moorea's two restaurants focus on Polynesian and French cuisine.

Two bars, serving both classic and exotic drink are available for guests.

The Spa offers a Polynesian massage with oil (at the spa or in the room), natural facial treatments, foot reflexology and body scrubs. Massages with Tahitian oils can be arranged on private bungalow decks, and a massage for two can be booked upon request.

Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea

Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea is a traditional Tahitian-style hotel located on Moorea's most beautiful beach, the only hotel on Moorea with a view of Tahiti. The Ia Ora features 110 bungalows -- 47 garden, 33 beach, 10 deluxe air-conditioned beach and 20 air-conditioned overwater -- all with charming Polynesian decor, situated in a lush tropical garden setting and along the magnificent white sand beach. Guests may enjoy a choice of two fine restaurants. La Perouse offers a delightful buffet breakfast daily and a Tahitian show.
