Moorea is a traditional Tahitian-style hotel located
on Moorea's most beautiful beach, the only hotel on
Moorea with a view of Tahiti. The Ia Ora features 110
bungalows -- 47 garden, 33 beach, 10 deluxe air-conditioned
beach and 20 air-conditioned overwater -- all with charming
Polynesian decor, situated in a lush tropical garden
setting and along the magnificent white sand beach.
The deluxe overwater bungalows and deluxe beachfront
bungalows feature air-conditioning, marble bathrooms,
television, mini-bars and in-room safes.
Guests may enjoy a choice of two fine restaurants. La
Perouse offers a delightful buffet breakfast daily and
a Tahitian show. Le Molokai is a beachside restaurant
serving a la carte lunch and dinner every day.
The hotel has an infinity pool at the seaside. Free
Activities: Snorkeling equipment, windsurfing, outrigger
canoes, tennis and volleyball. On various days during
the week there are Tahitian dance lessons, crab races
and demonstrations of pareo painting and tying, lei-making
and basket weaving.
